You’ve got mail. Without the mailbox run.
TrariTrara is a small smart-home project with one simple mission: letting you know when new mail has arrived.
How often do you get home, settle onto the couch, and suddenly wonder whether you remembered to check the mailbox? Or leave the house with your mind already on the day’s destination, walking straight past it? For people living in apartment buildings with underground parking, the mailbox can be particularly easy to overlook.
TrariTrara solves this everyday problem with a simple combination of hardware and software. Using a laser-based light barrier, the device detects changes inside your mailbox and updates its mail status. Thanks to its Wi-Fi connection and built-in web interface, you can check that status from the comfort of your home, without making an unnecessary trip to the mailbox.
Designed to be compact, portable, and easy to use, TrariTrara combines a microcontroller, optical sensing, and a browser-based interface into a practical smart-home solution.
Less guessing. Fewer unnecessary trips. More attention for the mail that matters.
With TrariTrara, your mailbox finally gets the attention it deserves — and you get to decide when it’s time to check it.
